“Dig Pink” is a nationwide initiative within the volleyball community to raise money for breast cancer awareness and research. It was founded in 2007 by the Side-Out Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving individuals affected by breast cancer.
Many high schools and colleges around the country host “Dig Pink” volleyball games, with proceeds going to the Side-Out Foundation. During these events, teams wear pink uniforms and participate in fundraising activities. These games serve as a way to raise awareness about breast cancer, honor those who have been affected by the disease, and support the search for a cure.
